Our client is a software vendor, ISV, consultancy and systems integrator.  Operating internationally covering 4 continents and with primary offices in 8 countries in the UK, USA, Middle East and Asia.

With multiple industry analyst awards such as IDC Digital Disruptor and Forrester Wave recognition they have created a great deal of  Consultancy / Commentator / Analyst excitement and interest in the last 2 years.

In the UK they are now up to 20 people (from 0 last year) and this represents a truly excellent and unusual career opportunity to join a business at early stages that is about to launch a major growth phase in Europe.

Content Marketing Manager

Candidates will be experts on social media analytics, understand the nuances, advantages and shortcomings of each platform and know how to utilize data in formulating a campaign strategy. Content Marketing Manager will manage a team of data analysts and content creators and will require excellent interpersonal and communicative skills, as well as demonstrate sound leadership and decision-making ability.

Key points of interest for the client:

Editorial background, good experience in Content digital marketing eg blogs, articles, on-site write ups, interviews etc.
You will be our voice in the market.
You will interview people in the market and produce `sticky` content for the region.

Builds good relationships with customers, prospects etc (not with journalists though as this will be the role of the PR team).

They will need a rolodex of contacts.  Should have a well established social media network.

Need to understand the basics of our industry (Artificial Intelligence) massive plus – has to have had a tech exposure otherwise

Their job to translate technical writing into video, audio, host and run webinars).

A Portal Editor or Marketing Manager would be a good fit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Orchestrating digital content strategies across all online platforms.
  • Driving traffic and engagement that translates to sales and brand promotion
  • Managing a content marketing budget
  • Measuring the results of marketing activity to inform future marketing campaigns
  • Managing a team of writers, illustrators and data analysts
  • Implementing SEO best practices.
  • Knowing which platform different kinds of content are best suited to.
