Digital Marketing Communications Specialist

The client is an international software and systems house with some 600+ staff and operations in 6 countries.  They are the developer of the leading operating system for container, cloud, and hyperscale computing. The majority of public cloud workloads and large-scale private cloud deployments use their systems software / operating system and is the preferred choice to develop and run applications such as AI or blockchain and leading in IoT with new smart gateways, self-driving cars and advanced robots being developed.

The Marketing team is looking for a digital marketing communications specialist responsible for creating and executing outbound communications campaigns, using relevant testing skills, data analytics etc.  Responsible for our communications > broadcast, feedback, measurement, iteration and improvement.  Someone who can show they can engineer growth in engagement, awareness, consumption and commerce of our software solutions.

In marketing you are a representative of the whole company and you are an advocate of our brands and products. We all work together across the full portfolio – you are expected to understand the big picture of how our products fit together, there are no siloes. These are not behind-the-scenes roles, they are public leadership roles. We expect our team to be just as comfortable delivering our message online as they are face to face at meetups, meetings, conferences, partner workshops, or press events. From the analyst community to the tech press, from the CIO to the graduate engineer, from prospects to existing customers, we think our OS should be the starting point for technology transformation around open source, and our marketing team are the amplifier for our message.

Required skills and experience

  • Relevant degree essential with a strong academic background.
  • A/B Testing and Data Analytics experience, with previous experience in the full marketing stack
  • Experience coding in HTML/CSS/JS and graphic editing skills to be able to set up A/B tests
  • Editing and copy writing skills
