Position Summary
To become part of our QA team. We are seeking a self-motivated and technical Engineer who is excited about knowing how to test find failures in the software and has a strong passion for quality. The ideal candidate will have a proven technical capabilities, as well as high motivation to study and implement test plans by assessing the features, risks and customer environments; all of this while using a set of practical test design techniques and methods. This exciting opportunity is open to quality oriented, enthusiastic and talented software testers.
Responsibilities
v Install and use the system from an end-user perspective.
v Understand the business aspects, as well as the ways the customers are using the system; and check if the system is performing as it should have been
v Participate in design process to understand, analyze and influence the application/service/system to be tested.
v Identify the risks and appropriate test coverage to validate new features as well as regression, and develop test plans and cases.
v Come up with more efficient ways to test features and identify the area of testing that can be automated.
v Execute test cases, manually or in automated fashion, capture and analyze the results, document issues and prepare test reports.
v Use Test Management tools to create, maintain, track and execute test cases; as well as use the Defect Tracking tools.
v Analyze and identify the issues found during testing, either work with the QA teams and/or the R&D teams to diagnose them
Required Technical Skills
v High level of English – must
v Knowledge and experience in Client / server MICROSOFT and/or Linux environment(s) – must
v The ability to work in a dynamic environment which can be changed frequently – must
v Knowledge of programming, scripting – a significant advantage
v IT, NETWORKING, TELEPHONY – a significant advantage
v Call Center experience – a significant advantage
v Experience in writing test documents – a significant advantage
v ISTQB Certification – advantage
v Knowledge and/or experience with testing methodologies and tools – advantage
v Relevant academic degree – advantage
v Knowledge of VOIP -advantage
v Knowledge of MSSQL server – advantage
v Independent, out of the box thinker, self-learner
v Good team player
