Pre Sales Consultant
Remuneration: Base Salary £50,000 – £65,000, Bonus, Car Allowance and benefits
Ideal location: Somewhere between Nottingham and Basingstoke. Officially home located. Midlands HO

Our client is a well-established international software house with several European and a USA office. In addition to their own software applications they also have a strong track record for professional services and consultancy delivery services. They operate almost exclusively via Channel Partners in the Avaya Aura Communications and Microsoft Skype for Business sectors. Typical applications include Contact Centres, CTI, IVR, Call Back Manager, Surveys, Auto Attendant, Unified Communications, Presence and IM. Channel Partners typically integrate their software apps into large complex solutions delivery (both CPE and Cloud / SaaS models) and in addition to the software licenses they deliver high levels of technical expertise and professional services around the Avaya Aura and Microsoft Skype for Business technology implementations.
The Pre Sales Consultant is responsible for providing technical sales support for the UK, Ireland and North America Sales teams. This team are focused on Avaya and Microsoft Unified Communications solutions sold and delivered through Channel partners.
Configure software applications in order to be able to provide standard and bespoke software demonstrations.
Participate in consultancy and training to gather requirements in order to create a functional design (not a technical design)
Provide support and technical input into Sales Proposals, Quotes and Tender responses
Assist the Sales team in on boarding new partners through providing training, education, accreditation and thought leadership
Work as a virtual member of our partners pre sales and sales teams to provide Pre Sales support
Training and assisting customers/partners to get the most of our Software Applications
Provides technical input and thought leadership to educate the market about its go to market propositions
Maintain knowledge of competitive offerings and help ensure we compete in each market segment
Personify the brand and service reputation in the unified communication and contact centre market as a brand that is trusted, innovative, consistently delivering on promises, high quality and provides excellent customer service.
Provide leadership to the internal virtual team to deliver ‘effortless’ interactions with our Channel Partners and end users.
Assist in identifying product opportunities to assist products sales growth.
Complete all Sales Documentation in the agreed format and uploads to SharePoint
Provides high quality written documentation
Owns the UK demonstration capability and create user cases which effectively demonstrate value proposition
Demonstrable success in Pre Sales or a Business Consultancy Role
Experience of dealing with Service Providers, VAR’s and traditional resellers advantageous.
Knowledge of the Call Contact Centre Market place from a technology and operational perspective.
Knowledge of the Avaya and Microsoft UC solutions, multi channel contact centre, IVR, Dialler technologies
Must be willing and able to travel to customers and channel partners across UK and Ireland.
